Fair use policy.
Paid plans have unlimited photos, and Short Story has unlimited video, for any real event. Storing and converting them costs us money for every event, so here are the numbers behind “unlimited”. Nearly every event stays well under them.
Per event
- Picture Book: about 10,000 photos (40 GB in all).
- Short Story: about 10,000 photos and 2 hr of video (40 GB in all, videos included). A single video can use all of it.
- Free: 75 photos and voice messages, as the plan says. Notes, drawings and song picks don’t count.
For comparison, a wedding with 150 guests usually collects 1,000 to 3,000 photos and well under an hour of video.
Per file
- Photos up to 50 MB each, in original quality.
- Videos up to 10 GB each. A very large video gets a heads-up before it uploads, since it can take a while on a phone.
- Voice messages up to 3 minutes each.
At the limit
New uploads stop until something is deleted. Everything already shared stays safe, and the host can see how much is used in the event’s settings. We never delete anything or charge more because an event reached a limit.
