Before you hand out the QR code
Do I have to sign up to try it?
No. The demo opens straight away, with no email, no account and no card. Look around, add a photo or a note, and leave whenever you like. Trying it doesn’t put you on anyone’s mailing list.
Do guests need an account?
No. The event invitation authorizes their browser, so guests can upload and download without creating a profile.
Is the event page public?
Not to strangers. The page won’t show up on Google, and there’s no list of events to browse. Anyone with the link can come in, though, so treat it like a party invite: guests could forward it. For more control, turn on a PIN. Then guests need the QR code or the PIN to get in.
Why not charge per guest?
Headcount does not represent the service being used. Storage, downloads, and retention do, so pricing stays tied to those costs.
Will there be a mobile app?
The guest experience starts on the web so nobody has to install an app for one event. A companion organizer app may come later.
